Urban mobility is the theme of the seminar in BH

Dialogues seminar Capital Brazilian Cities – Mobility – Model Public Transport to get to Brazil , will bring together public managers, academics, urban planners, and experts to raise the main problems faced by large cities in brazil

An opportunity of debate in relation to the problems faced by large urban centres in terms of mobility,show the available solutions, evaluate the role of the public sector, civil society and private initiative in the construction of better cities. This is the proposal of the second event in the series Dialogues Capitals in the Brazilian Metropolis, this time with the subject Mobility – Model of Public Transportation to Brazil. The event will be held in Belo Horizonte in the next August 29at Clarion Hotel. The event will have the participation of public managers, specialists, planners, and academia. The Mayor of Belo Horizonte, Mário Lacerda will be present to contribute to the discussion.

The meeting will feature tables of dialogues, lectures and presentation of cases on topics such as urbanism and smart cities, sustainable mobility and security in cities. Among the conrmed speakers are André Rodrigues de Oliveira, product manager for the Systems of city Buses of the Scania Latin America; and Luiz Carlos Mantovani Néspoli, superintendent of the ANTP-National Association of Public Transport; Ermínia Maricato, urban planner Faculty of Architecture of Urbanism of the USP and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development of São Paulo; and Ramon Victor Cesar, President, BHTrans and Guilherme Narciso de Lacerda, Director of the Areas of Social Infrastructure, the Environment and Agriculture and the Social Inclusion of the BNDES.

The registration for participation in the seminar are free and can be made in the e-mail addresswww.dialogoscapitais.com.br. The number of places is limited. This event is part of a series of Dialogues Capitals in the Brazilian Metropolis that began in São Paulo with the theme of The Future Planned, on the last day of 21 July. The event will still go through Recife, Porto Alegre and Belém.
