Hackathon MORE: From 2015 the Program Benchmarking Brazil conducts the Hackathon MORE Sustainability. Young designers and programmers, urban regularly enrolled in one of the partner universities of the program to develop applications aimed at transparency of public information by means of digital technologies. This year the challenge was to develop applications for the disposal aware. 05 projects of the Students of the university Anhembi Morumbi, Mackenzie, Uninove, and SENAI SP had their selected applications.

Reforestation: The araucaria, is the tree symbol of the state of Paraná. However, the species that have already arrived to cover 40% of the territory of paraná, today it is present in only 3% of the area. To retrieve the incidence of this native plant, the government has developed several programs that encourage farmers to plant trees. One of the projects is the “Road of the Trees” that pays for the producers to plant trees on their properties, in exchange for the environmental compensation.
